About The Club
The Cape Cod Bonsai Club was founded in 1989 by Fred Widamayer of Osterville, Massachusetts and has operated continuously for the past 37 years. Our mission is to share ideas and advance our collective learning in Bonsai. The club has a long history of participating in exhibits to promote the club and enhance the public's exposure to the art of Bonsai.
Our 2026 club officers are:

The club meets on the second Monday of the month at the Liberty Hall Club.

Yearly Dues
$35 for an individual,
$50 for a Family.
Prospective members are invited to attend a meeting for free to learn more about the club.

This website will be regularly updated with meeting and event information. Also you will receive emails from the club officers with reminders and any changes to our plans.

Absolutely not. You are welcome to come to as few or as many meetings as you desire. We only ask that if you make a commitment to bring snacks or items for the raffle that you notify the club president ahead of time if you can’t attend so they have time to make new arrangements.

No. While we ask club members to volunteer in many ways.
Bringing snacks or raffle items to meetings
Organizing events
Providing trees for public exhibitions
Donating items for the yearly auction
Volunteering is always optional. We understand some members do not have the time or resources and that it totally fine!
